TGMS - The "Jewel of the Desert"

Today is the opening day of the "jewel of the desert" the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show!

This year the theme is "Gems and Gem Minerals" and the show is open to the public!

The Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the mineral education of its members and the community.

Each year an all-volunteer Show Committee and additional Society volunteers bring this wonderful event to the City of Tucson.

Over the years since the first Tucson Gem and Mineral Show™, satellite shows have sprung up in the downtown area of Tucson and beyond. The overall happening has become known worldwide.
